编者语：《AP Newsletter》记者团成立不到一个月时间，记者们表现的相当踊跃，每一次活动都积极参与报道。10月23日美国加州大学戴维斯分校来访成外AP课程中心实验班，记者团高家瑞Erica 、贾若景Valentina、张蒂丝Daisy、 李梓毓Marisol 、孙灏Eric等5位实习文字记者分别从不同的角度进行了采访报道，实习摄影记者张竞文Lucy、杨思航Desmond进行了全程跟踪拍摄报道。下面将展示4位同学的作品，希望能为读者提供关于本次加州戴维斯分校来访的全方位介绍。

　　UCD,a university in California,which has 256 days of sunshine a year,also near state capital, and it's only 15 minutes' driving to UC Berkley. But if you love ocean,unfortunately,you ought to take 1.5 h driving to there,so it's really far away.

　　UCD isn't only with a good situation,but also with good ranking. It is the 8th university among public universities.The thing that we should point out is that UCD is the No.1 cool school in 2012-2013.

　　There,it has friendly students and the town is really safe and active. They also have bike borrowing service,and you can also take buses.It's really convenient for students going everywhere.

　　About major:

　　The counselor said that before we chose the universities,we should pay attention to its major and what resources are available.Different Universities have its own good majors.A university fits you is very important.UCD is famous for its Environmental Science and Biological Science,especially Animal Science.

　　Students here can also take double majors. They encourage people to do different research in different fields.

　　Every student can take part in the writing program, because they think no matter what major you are in,writing skill is really crucial.

　　About activities:

　　UCD has more than 500 student clubs and organizations,so it shows that school life there is really colorful. There are also many games provided.

　　If you are interested in writing,UCD has its own newspaper.

　　If you want to go to more places to visit,you can study abroad,that's UC wild program.

　　If you have good personality and leadership,you can enjoy the ASUCD student government.

　　About application:

　　They need enough scores on SAT/ACT and TOEFL. No matter how many times you take the exam,they just look at the best one you have.

　　Also,they consider the GPA. If you take AP,you should add it.

　　They aren't only pay attention to your scores,but also the activities you take. Colorful high school life is also important.

　　Suggestion：

　　If you don't much want to change your major,you'd better not.

　　And we are suggested to have a part-time job during the school life,because it will really give us handsome experience.

　　1.She believes that"You can make a big school small,but you can't make a small school big."

　　2.Opportunity is there. You just go,and then achieve it.

　　3.Think about 'Who are you?'

　　Questions:

　　Q1.Could you tell us some information about major of Business?

　　Answer: Unfortunately,now we don’t have this major. We are working on it. If you really want to take the major of Business,I suggest you to go to another university. As I said,the first thing when you consider to go to a university is to find whether it has a fit major for you or not.

　　Q2.I'm worried about the first few days in UCD because we are freshmen. Everything's here are new to us. So how can we join this big family?

　　Answer: We have Student Community Centre in the school. If you have this kind of problem,you can go there to get help. Then there will be a student to guide you,also be your friend.

　　I also have some work in China,so I can get the students from the same place to meet each others in a time.
